Jones released his first album, 20 Years 3 Months 12 Days, in 2002. He collaborated with Lil iROCC Williams on Williams's 2004 debut album, and wrote and performed a song, "You and Me", for the compilation Holy Hip-Hop:Taking the Gospel to the Streets. Jones's second album, The Password, was released independently in 2004; soon after, Jones signed to EMI and released his major label debut, Love Jones, in the summer of 2005. Jones toured the US with over 200 appearances in 2005, and following the success of Love Jones, The Password was re-released nationally at the end of 2005. He was nominated for two Grammy Awards for The Password in 2005. His album, Kingdom Business, was released on February 5th, 2008.
